Do not pick this up if you're looking for light and giddy goodness. As it says on the back, it's a romantic thriller - you really feel the slow burn. I love me some morally questionable characters (aka humans) and slightly toxic sexual tension. You'll fly through and likely not know how to feel!! (Me too.) Also plz looks up trigger warnings! Happy reading!

Okay - yes, Brene is very hyped. But have you read anything by her?! I swear, she is the most honest, non-preachy and proudly imperfect person to learn from. She would likely reject the concept of anyone putting her on a pedestal, but I'm going to anyway. She is a goddess. Read her work!! You will (hopefully) find all the messy parts of life much easier to deal with.

TRULY one of the most touching, refreshingly honest novels I've read in years. I was not expecting it to live up to the hype, yet somehow it surpassed my expectations. For fans of A Star is Born (but make it bisexual), this novel demands to be devoured.

A customer who knows the author recommended this to me and I cannot TELL you how elated I am to have read it. Kinda romantic, kinda historical fiction, quite comical. One of the only novels I've read by someone who's younger than 30- and I loved all the relatable references. Plz enjoy!

If you liked Stepford Wives, you MUST buy this book. Very similar to the suburban-type thrillers of Liane Moriarty. It was jaded and yet light in all the right ways, told only by someone who could know the day-to-day stresses of being a working mother and wife. Happy reading!

Jordyn and I have obsessed incessantly about this romance novel. Please read it so we can all flip out about it. It's also a movie. Go watch it!!

We've got all the good tropes in this one...fake dating, enemies-to-lovers, AND a bonus fun one of a slightly older woman. It will not leave you sobbing on your bathroom floor by any means; purely some lighthearted feel-good vibes (including some very exciting dirty talk). You will intuitively know exactly what will happen and still love it when it does! ENJOY!

This is one of my favorite books in the history of literature. I'd recommend it to educators, people who like kids, or even young adults themselves. It changed my life and my view of young people. I hope you LOVE it.

This is a great example of a classic Lit(erature) novel with an added bonus of SPICE! About two women navigating love & friendship together. Fun journey figuring out who you feel about each character.

Such a fun, fast, and utterly captivating read! I love the feminist retelling of this old tale; I fell in love with Enola from the preface! Such a creative author who takes you back through time to the 19th century!

You've probably heard great things about this already, and I think if you've picked up the book & are reading this you must not set it back down. Perhaps one of the most powerful things I've ever read.

Shalaby has transformed the way I see and show up with young people. If you work with kids - or have your own - send this to the top of your list.

This book helped pull me out of a difficult place with food, exercise, and my body. Whether you've gone through tough moments with body image (which all of us have,) I know you'll enjoy her humor and humility.

If you need a book to catapult you back into reading, this is the one. It always excites me to meet other TOG fans, because people either don't know about it or are utterly obsessed with it. The story of a female assassin - need I say more?
